The East Metro Integration District is a very special school district in Minnesota, founded to help Saint Paul and communities of the east Twin Cities metro area learn how to better integrate schools. From the beginning, EMID has been a wellspring of innovation and excellence. We recently succeeded in preventing the closure of Crosswinds and Harambee through our EMID-SOS Save Our Schools campaign. Now the hard work of developing a new budget and supporting our schools in more challenging times moves forward.
If you are a student or the parent of a student, then you know you belong to EMID Families. But really, anyone who cares about our schools is part of the family! We welcome teachers, administrators, and all friends of EMID to become part of EMID Families and the work we do to support our schools.
